Pharmacy Students Visit Nanakaly Hospital for ICDB Community Service Project
Shayan: On May 23rd, 2024, first-year pharmacy students from Tishk International University visited Nanakaly Hospital as part of the IDCB community service project. Each student brought a gift for the children battling cancer, with the aim of supporting and bringing joy to these young fighters while promoting well-being across all ages.
The students demonstrated empathy and generosity by thoughtfully selecting gifts such as toys, books, and comforting items. This visit offered them a unique opportunity to interact with the children, providing comfort and encouragement during their hospital stay. It was a heartwarming experience filled with shared smiles, stories, and laughter, creating positive and lasting memories for both the students and the young patients.
This initiative not only brightened the day of the children at Nanakaly Hospital, but also taught the pharmacy students invaluable lessons about compassion, empathy, and the importance of giving back to the community.
