Research Training Program at Tishk International University: A Resounding Success!

Shayan: In today’s academic landscape, the ability to effectively publish research is crucial for success. Recognizing this need, the Business and Management Department recently hosted a highly successful training program titled “Mastering the Art of Research Publication: From Manuscript to Global Impact.” Led by Dr. Md. Mahmudul Alam, Associate Professor at Universiti Utara Malaysia, the program provided participants with essential skills for navigating the research publication process. Dr. Alam, ranked among the top 3% of researchers worldwide and number one in accounting and finance in Malaysia according to the AD Scientific Index 2025, brought a wealth of experience to the training. He holds an impressive record with around 52 h-index citations and over 10,000 citations on Google Scholar.

Held from October 10th to 14th, 2024, the intensive training program covered various aspects of research, including effective planning, journal article writing, and enhancing research visibility. The event attracted a diverse group of participants, including postgraduate students and academicians, from several universities and faculties. Institutions represented included Lebanese French University, Salahaddin University, and the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr. This diverse attendance fostered a vibrant and collaborative learning environment.

The program offered a well-rounded experience through a combination of theoretical and practical sessions, along with interactive Q&A discussions. This allowed participants to improve their research and publication strategies. The positive feedback from attendees highlighted the value of the training, with many appreciating the hands-on approach and expert insights. The event not only enhanced participants’ research skills but also encouraged academic collaboration. Dr. Md. Mahmudul Alam was committed to supporting participants in their future research and providing insightful recommendations.

This training aligns with Tishk International University’s commitment to continuously supporting the academic community and enriching research capabilities. It will be followed by a series of future workshops that will address practical issues such as data analysis methods and the use of advanced research tools.

As FASE strives to provide the highest quality academic activities, feedback from our respected participants is always appreciated.
