Shayan: The Dean of Students at the Faculty of Dentistry, Tishk International University, organized a football tournament on April 30th, 2024, for all faculties of the university. The tournament featured eight teams, comprising students from various grades across all faculties at TIU. The event was coordinated by the Representatives of the Dean of Students at the university.
The competition was intense, culminating in a thrilling final match held on May 8th, 2024. The final featured two outstanding teams: one from the Faculty of Dentistry and the other from the Faculty of Law. The Faculty of Dentistry team emerged victorious, securing a 3-2 win over their counterparts from the Faculty of Law. All matches were supervised by the Representatives of the Dean of Students from the Faculty of Dentistry. The final match attracted a large audience, including staff and students from the Faculty of Dentistry, as well as members from other faculties.
The Dean of Students, Dr. Muhamad Abdulghani, along with the Dean of Students Representative for the Faculty of Dentistry, Mr. Ercan Sezer, warmly congratulated both teams and presented them with first and second-place trophies. Special recognition was given to the best goalkeeper, Mariwan Sardar, a fourth-year student from the Faculty of Dentistry, and the top scorer, Ahmad Nadhim, a third-year student from the Faculty of Dentistry, both of whom received awards for their exceptional performances.
