TIU’s Faculty of Law on 1 April 2021 held an online international workshop under the title “Electronic Arbitration as a Mean of Settling International Trade Disputes” by Dr. Ramiz Mahdi Mahmood, a lecturer from the university of Gaza, Palestine.
The event was attended by teachers and professors from Iraq and several other Arab countries. During the workshop, Dr. Mahmood explained “Electronic Arbitration” in general and provided details about its advantages and disadvantages.
He then shed light on famous and outstanding arbitration centers which are specialized in examining and resolving electronic disputes. He also provided examples and compared electronic arbitration in the Arab countries with those from well-developed nations.
