TIU Welcomes 2019-2020 Newcomers
A ceremony was held at Tishk International University campus on November 13, 2019 to welcome newcomers for the academic year 2019-2020.
The event aimed at introducing the freshmen with other TIU students and staff, and create a strong friendly environment from day one of their arrival. During the event, attended by a large number of students and staff from all departments, the academic year plan was also introduced.
Dean of Students Mr. Ali Bala delivered a speech to welcome the newcomers, reiterating TIU’s commitment to high-quality education and providing opportunities to promote students’ academic and social capacity. Later on, Dr. Wasfi Kahvachi, Vice President of Administration and Finance Department, also welcomed the new students and reviewed the major achievements made by the TIU.
Then, the year’s cake, as a symbol of starting new academic year, was cut by the students who have recorded highest GPA in their faculties. Lastly, an excellent live performance was presented by ‘Daf Club’.
