TIU Delegation Visits JMSB and UQAM in Montreal

 

Dr. Fatih Cura, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE) and Karwan T. Rashid, Web Editor and ICABEP Coordinator visited John Molson School of Business (JMSB) at the Concordia University, Montreal, Canada on 8th August 2019. FASE team were warmly welcomed by Associate Dean of JMSBProf. Sandra Betton and Andy Lang, Director of International Relations Office.

Concordia University was the highest-ranked university all around Canada. The university, which is located in Montreal, Quebec, was founded back in August 1974, which only makes the university forty-five years old.

On August 10, 2019, FASE delegation visited Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Prosper Bernard, professor of Business UQAM & Chairman, and Professor Dr. Michel Plaisent, director of the MIS program, warmly welcomed the delegation from Tishk International University (TIU).

During a meeting,  Dr. Fatih Cura presented an introductory video of TIU and briefed the attendees about the history of TIU as a best private university in the Kurdistan Region and around Iraq. He introduced TIU faculties and facilities through a short promo video. The delegation also discussed the range of annual scientific programs and social activities performed by the TIU staff and students.

It was an optimistic discussion as Dr. Fatih Cura revealed plans for several future collaborations and signing the memorandum of understanding (MOU) in the nearest future between JMSB, UQAM and Tishk International University.
