Tishk International University plaquette at the University of Central Oklahoma Tishk International University’s scholar Dr. Tola FARAJ (Head of Medical Analysis Department/Applied Science Faculty) and Fulbright Visiting Scholar for 2022 at the University of Central Oklahoma in the United States has participated in the Welcome Dinner organized by the College of Mathematics & Science, as part of the Fulbright program in collaboration with the host university. The University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) founded in 1890 and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Central connects its nearly 14,000 students to unmatched value found in 119 undergraduate areas of study and 80 graduate programs. The occasion commenced with a speech by University of Central Oklahoma President Patti Neuhold-Ravikumar. More information was shared about the university and the academic achievements by Charlotte Simmons, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Also, a brief introduction regarding the contribution of the College of Mathematics and Science to the UCO by Gloria Caddell (Dean of CMS), through providing core knowledge of mathematics and science to all students, enhance their comprehension and appreciation of the principles of these disciplines and improve their ability to make informed decisions. Dr. FARAJ has privileged (on behalf of Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of Board of Trustees, and TIU president, Vice presidents, and the University council) to hand in the Tishk International University plaquette to the president of the University of Central Oklahoma and the Dean of the College of Mathematics and Science as a symbol of friendship and collaboration.
