Shayan: On 3rd March 2022, representatives from the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University, led by Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Hussain Balisany, visited the University of Kirkuk – Faculty of Law. The visit aimed to reinforce the academic and scientific collaboration between the two universities.
The delegation met with Dr. Salwa Ahmed Maidan, Dean of Faculty of Law at the University of Kirkuk, Dr. Newzad Ahmad, Vice Dean, and Dr. Ahmad Samir, Secretary of the Faculty Journal.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the closer cooperation regarding the publication of scientific and academic research, and organizing joint conferences. Both TIU and University of Kirkuk agreed to expand and develop the mutual efforts to create stronger cooperations between the two universities.
A memorandum of understanding was signed by the TIU’s Dean of Faculty of Law and University of Kirkuk to agree that all researches presented at the International Legal Issues Conferences held at Tishk International University will be published by the University of Kirkuk – Faculty of Law’s Journal. This valuable collaboration will significantly enhance the quality of the publications presented at our annual International Legal Issue Conferences and will set the stage for more opportunities to strengthen the mutual collaboration between Tishk International University and the University of Kirkuk in the future.
