TIU’s Faculty of Dentistry held a ceremony on 17 November 2021 to underscore the central role of its academic and administration staff in dealing with the challenges occurred with the pandemic.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Duran Kala, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Lezan Dawood, Polyclinic Manager, Dr. Aliser Babakulivev, Vice Dean, and Mr. Erjan Sezer, Executive Academic Advisor.
The ceremony was coordinated by Dr. Zainab Yalman, Representative of Dean of Student’s Office at the Faculty of Dentistry, Mrs. Zhala Tahsin, and Dr. Safya Basman, Dean of Students Assistants. The purpose of the event was to commend the important role of the academic and administration staff of the faculty during the Covid-19 pandemic and the measures undertaken despite the risk and predicament associated with the virus.
To commence the ceremony, Dr. Duran Kala delivered a short speech to welcome the guests and thank the faculty staff for their hard work and effort. Subsequently, small memorial gifts and appreciation certificates were handed to all dentistry staff.
The Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University is one of the most fundamental and popular faculties that attracts many young students from around the region. It provides a very affluent healthcare system with its experienced faculty members and staff.
