Shayan: The Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University (TIU) held an international workshop on the One Drill System and Basic Implantology on October 12th, 2023. The event, which took place at the university’s campus, saw participation from 88 dentists, including faculty members and professionals from various dental institutions. Leading the workshop was the dental expert Mohamad Anaraki, MSc., from Romania Costanza University and Director of Digital Dental Qatar, alongside being an Iranian Oral and Maxillofacial (OMF) Advisor.
The workshop focused on the innovative “One Drill System” and its application in Basic Implantology, offering participants a comprehensive understanding and practical application of this cutting-edge technique.
The objectives of the workshop were:
- Introduction to The One Drill System: To provide a foundational understanding of the “One Drill System,” elucidating its concept, mechanism, and potential advantages in implantology.
- Enhanced Proficiency in Basic Implantology: To equip dentists with enhanced proficiency in basic implantology, focusing on implant placement procedures and associated surgical techniques.
- Application of Innovative Techniques: To familiarize participants with innovative dental implant techniques and methodologies that enhance the precision and efficiency of implant placement.
The workshop enabled participants to acquire a thorough understanding of “The One Drill System,” its design, benefits, and how it can streamline the implant placement process, to apply skills in basic implantology, focusing on the practical aspects of implant placement using the innovative one-drill approach, and to integrate the latest advancements in implantology, promoting the utilization of contemporary techniques for superior patient outcomes.
The Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University aims to continue organizing workshops that empower the dental community with the latest knowledge and expertise.
