Women’s empowerment is a critical component of achieving gender equality. It can be determined as encouraging and increasing women’s self-esteem, decision-making power, and access to opportunities, power, and control over her own life both inside and outside the home as well as their ability to make a decision and their right to influence social changes for themselves and others. Women’s empowerment starts by achieving independence and freedom to choose what they desire. There are numerous ways to empower women. To empower women is to step out of their comfort zone or to learn new skills can be considered as empowering. Rejecting something they dislike is also an act of empowerment. The action of empowering women is critical for the health in addition to the social development of families, communities, and countries. Women can reach their full potential when they live safely, fulfilled, and productive lives. They can contribute their skills to the workforce while also raising happier and healthier children. Females have the ability to help fuel sustainable economics while also benefiting societies and humanity.

Empowerment helps to reduce domestic violence and build peace by acknowledging the value of women. Women are still discriminated in some cultures solely because of their gender. They do not have the same right as men. Females are still paid less in some places and are expected handle the houseworks alone. They are still held to strict standards by their family and society. Some of them are still not permitted to work or study away from home because they believe women are weaker than men. Women’s empowerment is desperately needed in today’s societies. Women are born with God-given equal right to live. Women winning their rights to vote is an important principle for their empowerment, they have the right to contribute equally to education, society, economy, and politics. Women should have the chance to be involved in society as they should have the right to select their language, work, and other activities. All women should have access to good education, complete their classes, learn a skill, and study whatever they prefer. The empowerment achieved by women is a source of promising women to feel strong by encouraging them that they can accomplish anything they set their mind on.

Women are not reliant on men. They can support their families and themselves to the best of their abilities. Some women are hesitant to work in difficult conditions or high-ranking positions because they believe that is not a female’s job. However, the opposite is true. Women can hold high-ranking positions because women can accomplish more than what people expect. Women are smart and strongly successful as any other creature on earth. Some women are promoted to positions as leaders, presidents, and commune chief with other positions. This is how gender empowerment works with peace. To treat and provide everyone  with  what they deserve and wish.

In my perspective, as a young woman, I believe that women’s empowerment is accomplished when an empowered woman encourages or supports other women to speak up, recognize the value of their ideas, and make them feel special. “I raise voice – not so I can shout, but so that those without a voice can be heard… we cannot succeed when half of us is held back,” Malala Yousfazi once said.

Women should understand their value in their communities, they should realize that while being a good mother, they can also be hard worker. Women’s empowerment is very important to every woman around the world. To sum up, I would like to share the famous saying that “women are half of the society “(Ibn Al-Qayyim). And without women, there would be no other creatures. If you are a woman please do not be afraid to work towards your goals, you are STRONG, BEAUTIFUL and TALENTED. You do not need to be a doctor or an engineer to be valued in the society. You are valued and beautiful because you are known as a WOMAN. A women’s power and strength come from her true self ONLY. As said by Brat Jackson: behind every successful woman is HERSELF.
