Elderly people are one of the most important groups in our community that need more care and attention than before. Most of the elderly people who live alone face many problem daily that would not let them handle their daily activates and depend on themselves. The needs of the elderly people grow as their age grows, and that is related to the changes in their surroundings. The psychological needs are to live safely with themselves and with others free from all psychological pressures. Safety at home is one of the key needs of the elderly people.
The main purpose of this project is to cover the daily and personal needs of the elderly people.
If we look at the issue from a different viewpoint, it is also considered as psychological treatment for them. Mental health and emotional wellness are important to the elderly as it is in any other stage of life.
Smart homes are made for the elderly people with a low cost and programmed on the ready-made houses. It does not require a private and specially designed house. One of its advantages is that the sensors are optional according to the health condition of the user, and what he or she prefers in order to live comfortably, independent, happy and safe inside the house. The design of building, services, and activities are exclusive and innovative to facilitate the lifestyle with the development of society and technology.
In our advanced and modern world, the age of artificial intelligence has expanded widely that it has affected almost every aspect of life; and the smart technologies are just another useful tool of artificial intelligence to build a better life for people from all ages and walks of life.
