White Coat Ceremony Held at Dentistry Faculty
Dean of Students’ Office on November 28, 2019 organized the “White Coat Ceremony” for the incoming students of Dentistry Faculty.
TIU President Dr. Idris Hadi Salih delivered opening remarks and welcomed the new students. He later gave a presentation on Tishk International University and its outstanding academic achievements.
The event was also attended by Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, TIU Vice President, Dr. Duran Kala, Dean of Dentistry Faculty, Dr. Lezan Dawood, Polyclinic Manager, Mr. Ali Bala, Dean of Students, Mr. Fatih Yilmaz and Dr. Zainab Yalman, the representatives of Dean of Students’ Office.
Dean of Students, Mr. Bala also delivered a speech to explain the role of his office and emphasize on the importance of social life on campus for students of the TIU.
Later on, Dr. Kala, the Dean of Dentistry Faculty, led the incoming students to take the oath of dentistry and pledge to commit themselves to placing patients before all else.
TIU president, dean of dentistry faculty, dean of students and senior lecturers later invited the students to the stage where they received their white coats.
